Special notes:
BEW engines originally came with a Borg Warner KP-39 Turbo, the stock EGR plumbing will not align with this turbo. To retain the EGR cooler you will also need to buy this Garrett EGR adapter kit.

Awesome
Direct bolt in, heck of an upgrade for the marginal cost over a stock KP-39. Paired with a Malone Tune and the car feels more powerful than the 2012 Passat TDI that's also in the garage. Just enough get up and go when you need it.

This was a no brainer if your KP-39 dies and your on a budget. AARodriguez beat everyone else's price by $100 and with cheap shipping. They contacted me to see if I needed a smart actuator or not which save me a lot of grief. The part shipped same day and was at my home in 2 days. If you don't want to drop the coin for a 17/22, this is your turbo. Good torque with a retune. Direct fit if you don't want to keep your EGR cooler. Couldn't be happier.

Replaced 2005 Beetle turbo
This turbo is a far better product than the original turbo. I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone.

Pretty easy install if you have any mechanical know how. Completely different car with a stage 4 tune. Runs great!
